in Exhibit.'"A"t and
WHEREAS, said De=laration of Covenants, Conditions and
Restrictions were recorded in Volute 643, page 318 of the Brazos
County, .Texan. Deed Records and
4rdEREAS, it ie the'dcsire of the parties signing below that
the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restzictione be
amended ar set out belowti
NOW THIBEFORE, it is hereby understood and agreed thnt the
following amendments are .made to said Declaration of Covenants.
.Condit*.ons and Restrictions.
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 3, of said Declaration presently
reads as .follows:
Section 3. Basis and Maximuff of Monthly Assessments. Until
the year beginning, anuary t e wont ty assessments
on each Lot shall be TWENTYDOLLARS beginning on the first
..day of the month following the date of purchase. Excepted
from such assessment shall be lots owned by Developer and
lot~.oi+aed by'a professional builder who pcrchaeed such lots
for residential construction and is actively pursuing such
construction and sales. From and after January 1, 198.4, the
monthly assessment may be increased by vote of the Members,
as hereinafter provided for the next succeeding three (3)
years and at the end of each such period of three (3) years
for each succeeding period of three .(3) years.

tive, ;fails co give written approval or'diaapproval within
thirty (30) days after plans and specifications have: been
submitted to it, which suhmiaaion shall be at lc as[ seven
(7> days prior to obtaining a building pcrrit, or in any
event, 1f no suit to enjoin the construction has .been
