Dear Mr. Kaspar:
We have reviewed the request far. the driveway permit fog a convenience store at the
corner of Rack Prairie Road and FM 2154. Before the driveway permit can be approved,
please submit the following information:
' 1. Proposed traffic control plan for the installation of the driveway.
2. Internal drainage patterns and their affect on the proposed pipe under Rock Prairie
Road.
3. Atypical section ofthe pavement structure of the driveway..
4. The drawings appear to show a property line in the middle of the proposed drive.
TxDOT policy requires that driveways, including the radii, be contained.within the
property lines. unless a mutual agreement between landowners exists. In other words,
if the property lines were extended to the roadway, no part of a drive should cross the
extended line. The drive should be relocated within the property lines or proof of the.
mutual agreement must be submitted.

months from the issuance dale of this permit.

store located at the intersection of Welborn Rd. (FM 2154) and Rock Prairie Road. This site is
located at the south corner of the above mentioned intersection. The applicant is proposing to
construct a 36 foot wide driveway. I am also. including a dimension site plan and utility plan that

The line will be constructed and maintained on the highway right-of-way as shown on the attached drawing and in
accordance with the rules, regulations and policies of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and all
governing laws, including but not limited to the "Federal Clean. Water Act," the "Federal Endangered Species Act," and
the "FederaTHistoric Preservation Act." Upon request by TxDOT, proof of compliance with all governing laws, rules, and
regulations will be submitted to TxDOT before commencement of construction.
Our firm will use Best Management Practices to minimize erosion and sedimentation resulting from the proposed
installation, and we will revegetate the project area as indicated under "Revegetation Special Provisions."
Our firm will insure That traffic control measures complying with applicable portions of the .Texas Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices will be installed and maintained for the duration of this installation.

and air /water customer services as indicated on the site plan.
For security reasons, these items have to be located in a place that can be
monitored at all times.

will meet the City's approval.

Convenience Store Access Drive Permit
Dear Mr. Kaspar:
We have. reviewed the request for the driveway permit for a convenience store at the
corner of Rock Prairie Road and FM 2154._ Before the driveway permit can be approved,
please submit the following information:
i. Proposed traffic control plan for the installation of the driveway.
2. Internal drainage patterns and their affect. on the proposed pipe .under Rock Prairie
Road.
3. Atypical section of the pavement structure of the driveway.
4. The drawings appear to show a property line in the middle of the proposed drive.
TxDOT policy requires that. driveways, including the radii, be contained within the
property lines unless a mutual agreement between landowners exists. In other words,
if the property lines wereextendedta the roadway,. no part of a drive should cross the
extended like. The drive should be relocated within the property lines or praof of the
mutual agreement must be submitted.

Attached are 3 copies of a Driveway Permit Application for the Exxon service station/convenience
store located at the intersection of Welborn Rd. (FM 2154) and Rock Prairie Road. This site is
located at the south comer of the above mentioned intersection. The applicant is proposing to
construct a 36 foot wide driveway. I have previously sent you a dimension site plan and utility
plan that the applicant is proposing to build. Enclosed with this submittal is a copy of the letter
