BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: The following tracts of property are rezoned to WPC Wolf Pen-Creek Corridor zoning district: Tract One: A 6.307 acre tract, lot 2 of the Holleman Place Subdivision recorded in Volume 1040, Page 485 in a subdivision plat filed on April 20, 1988 in the Official Records of Brazos County. Said tract is currently zoned R-5 Medium Density Apartments and shown graphically in Exhibit "A". Tract Two: A 2.423 acre tract in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46 currently zoned R-1 Single Family Residential. Said tract is shown graphically in Exhibit "A" and described by metes and bounds in "Exhibit B". A notice. of the time and place, where and when said ordinance would be given a public hearing and considered for final passage, was published in The Eagle, a daily newspaper of general circulation in the ,Cities of Bryan and College Station, said publication being on 1Vlonday, December 22, 1997, the same being at least fifteen (15) days prior to a public hearing to be held in the Council Room of the .City Hall in College Station, Texas, at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 7, 1998,. to permit the public to be heard prior to final consideration of this ordinance. :PASSED ON THIS 7th day of January, 1998. N0. 2296 METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION OF A 2.423 ACRE (105528 SF) TRACT MORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE, ABSTRACT N0.46 COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS Metes and bounds description of all that certain 2.423 acre tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being comprised of all that same tract conveyed to Simon Kahan as described by deed recorded in VOLUME 1036 PAGE 437 of the Official Recon3s of Brazos County, Texas, said 2.423 acre tract being more particularly described as follows: - ~~ BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron rod found marlang the north comer of said 2.423 acre tract and the east corner of that same 6.38 tract conveyed from Davis McGill, et ux, to Davis and Thelma McGill Family Limited Partnership, as described by deed recorded in VOLUME 2437, PAGE 33, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, and lying in the southeast right-of--way line of Dartmouth Street. THENCE S 18° 32' 34" E - 380.42 feet with said right-of--way line to a 1/2" iron rod set for corner. THENCE S 41° 58' OS" W - 228.23 feet with the southeast line of said 2.423 acre tract to a 1/2" iron rod found for corner. Said southeast line being also the northwest line of Troy Subdivision, as depicted by plat recorded in VOLUME 2182 PAGE 36 of said Official Records.
