From M-l& R-5 to C-l & R-5
Existing M-I Planned Industrial:
PURPOSE: This district is provided for high
technological, light manufacturing, non-
polluting industries, properly proportioned
and designed for aesthetic appeal, with
controlled design of plant exteriors and
construction materials. Not only site design
and layout, but facades, materials, lighting,
and apparent architectural aspects of the
project ,are subject to review. All vehicle
access shall be paved. The M-I District may
be compatible with adjacent uses in any other
district, depending upon the character of the
operation and the conditions imposed.
Proposed C-I General Commercial District:
PURPOSE: This district is designed to
provide a location for general commercial,
retail uses which serve the entire community
and its visitors.
PURPOSE: This district provides land for
development, of apartment and condominium
units · at . medium densities. This district may
serve, as a transitional zone between
residential areas ,and non-residential areas.
PERMITTED USES: All in A-P and C-3, plus
the following:
Alcoholic beverage sales - retail & wholesale
Arena.. coliseum

Bookstore, retail and wholesale
