COMMISSION MEETINGS ARE HELD THE FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAYS OF EACH

If a petition for rezoning is denied by the City Council, another application for rezoning shall not be
filed within a period of 180 days from the date of denial, except with permission of the Planning &
Zoning Commission or City Council. . .

Ordinance No. 1638 (the Zoning Ordinance) requires the applicant to furnish .the following
information:

necessary.
The Pl anning& Zoning Commission recommended the creati on of a C-B di stri ct. The
UHiversity Drive Corridor Study recommended upon request a C-B district at the
southwest corner of University & Lincoln and an A/P district at the southeast
corner of Un i vers ity & Li nco 1 n .
2.} Indicate whether or not this zone change is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. lfit is not,
explain why the Plan is incorrect.
Yes - The Univer~ity Drive Corridor Study recommended a commercial and office
cord dor between the East By-Pass and Tarrow.
3.) List any other reasons to support this zone change.
Owner would like to secure the proper zoninq to encouraqe development and to help
market the tract.
