Planning did not realize the there was :any outside activity at all. We don't know what happened but it appears that we were not informed by the Engineering dept and they did not realize that we did not knave. The original. landscape plan (1985} did not include the area into which they expanded in 1992. Hence they should have submitted an expandedlrevised,,landscape plan and they did not, but we did not tell them to. Well it happened again during the expansion of the emergency facilities in 1996. They submitted a landscape plan but it was of minor importance since it appeared that they were only affecting one entrance area, and were just basically replacing'what was an the original landscape plan. So again we did not require anything, but we caught the error after the fact. So here's what we agreed to do: -The 1996 emergency expansion will require no additional landscaping, just replacement of the original landscape plan. -We are going to let them know that when they expand into the adjacent triangular area to the ne that they will be expected to bring the landscaping up to date with an updated plan for the entire site including that triangular area. Since it was our error that missed the detention pond area, we will exclude that area from calculations from now on. This is the besYof my rememberence of our meeting--Nanette Jane Kee `. Looking at the numbers, it appears that they have at least 64 "extra" spaces currently, using the more conservative numbers from the health department. Jane & Bine, check me on this, but I would think that the use is as comparable to a medical clinic as any, especially since it is a trauma ctr., without `"traditional" hospital beds. Therefore, using those numbers allows the additional s.f. with current parking. I wouldn't think the commissionwould require any more than lsp/200 s.f. Bottom line, there is no specified number in the parking regs., but I don't think it is necessary to take it to p&z. ~; E e s :L ~ G E -- f: F ?" r E F ~. r r ,..: ,: ~~ p ~~~e ~ sa~lnu /~ ~ ,~ ~d ~oda~ , j` f ~~ ~ ~ ~~-~ F '~~t~~n~~i, J ',_ 4 4 7 _.
