Our landscaper is encouraging the delay of planting until the first of November when the temperatures are more conducive to successful transplanting.. Begonia Corporation is requesting the City to accept a four month $16,60Q letter of credit to be held until plantings are complete. A staff review was conducted with the following comments/recommendations: Streetscape required. along the future Rock Prairie Road extension. Streetscape required along Edelweiss Avenue which is a collector. Show radii on Edelweiss at the Rock Prairie Road intersection. Coordinate electric requirements with Tony Michalsky at 764-3438. Coordinate natural gas requirements with Don Fazzino of Lone Star'Gas (776-0627). Coordinate telephone requirements with Laverne Akin of GTE (821-4723). Coordinate cable requirements with Mike Lavender of TCA Cable (846-1948). Review of the construction documents for infrastructure is underway and will be completed and returned to you soon. The only difference between the two is that a major collector i.s wider to provide for a continuous left turn lane. Let me know what your thoughts .are. »> Sabine McCully 12/03/.96 11:35am »> .here are my comments on the final plat that has been scheduled for december` 19: - the plat matches the master plan for phase 8 except that 4 additional lots are shown.. j ane, off the top of my head, the parkland dedicated is over the' requirement because the multi-family did not develop at its maximum density, so i dont think we need to recalculate parkland.. can you please confirm. this? if you let me know where i can look for some documentation of this, i can confirm this for myself. - - streetscape is required along the future rock p road extension. they need to calculate the number of trees and the oints required by using the following: /,~~'~ ~Qp frontage feet / 25 = # of trees frontage feet / 50 X 300 = points required - edelweis avenue is a collector, therefore staff has the discretion to require. streetscape if we feel it needs to be shown. all of the rest of the land along that street is still not final platted yet except-for one lot in phase 4a that backs up to it at mortier and edelweis. i recommend that we require streetscape unless we want to .make the policy decision at this point that. only major collectors are required streetscape., not residential (mi.nor) collectors..
