Dear Paul:
Following our telephone conversation yesterday regarding the issuance of a temporary
Certificate of Occupation for the Office Depot being proposed on Texas Avenue, I visited
with several staff members and came to the following conclusion. The City of College
Station is wilting to issue a temporary C.O. for Office Depot without the completion of
the main entrance drive shown on the site plans as long as adequate parking and fire lanes
are provided without it. Obviously, .all other building codes, utilities, access points, and
other requirements must be met before the temporary C.O. is issued.
We will require. that phase lines on the site plan be submitted showing which areas of the
development will be in place. at .the time the temporary C.O. is anticipated. In this way we
can see how circulation and parking will be addressed without the entrance road.
