From: Joey Dunn To: JKEE Date: 8/5/9612:04pm Subject: 1.600 Austin -Reply -Reply -Reply -Reply On friday, I talked to Tina at McArthur Surveyors to clarify everything. McArthur is going to charge $150 {not $600) for the notations and signatures we need on the plat. I also tallced to Jan Kyle, and she seemed relieved that it was less. Appazently the signatures take a while because the lenders for both owners have to sign off as well. Anyway, Tina will bring in a draft copy for us to see before any. final mylaz documents are made. »> Jane Kee 08/05/96 11:41 am »> How did this mess all work out? Hopefully it did while I was gone.. it's nice to Huss things like this. »> Joey Dunn 07/31/96 01:44pm »> (what a mess from the beginning).... for the record-since this is about me - I never saw a proposed replat, just a property survey & lender letter request, which triggered the variance. They got their variance, and I hadn't heard from them until they brought in their"replat" to Shirley. Apparently McArthur .was under the impression that: only one lot shown. would be acceptable. As Rine has suggested below, I will call and apologize for any misunderstanding. »> Sabina Kuenze107/31/96 10:47am »> i agree that the lot next door needs to be included somehow. i think we are alreadymaking a concession. if we made a mistake by not informing him of the subdivision options,. all i can say is that. we are trulysorry, and perhaps joey needsto call with an apology and explain again that the variance onlymade it possible for a plat to be approved, not that it would be automatically without subnussion of a real plat. however we cannot violate our subdivision regulations: »> Shirley' Volk 07/30/96 05:09pm »> Mr. Kyle, the man who. went to ZBA for a setback variance thought when he got it he could bring in the replan or amending plat for his lot and it could be ap roved and filed for record and everything would be right with the world. He said that was the impression "joey Bunn gave him". ell, the surveyor turned in the. amended plat of Mr. Kyle's lot and I rejected it because the neighbor's lot wasn't included. The realtor complained and I turned her over to the city planner to work things out. Well, Janeagreed with me, and explained it all to them, and they still had a problem with it, so we compromised and agreed .that if they used the surveyed information on Mr. Kyle's lot and simply wrote in the information of the remaining lot dimensions from the previous plat (the difference), and put a note. on it -sort: of a disclaimer. so to speak-that we would accept that, but Mr.-Kyle is still unhappy and says it's going to cost an additional. $600, and he was "told all would be well once he got his variance", which he did. Anyway, talk to me about this, please, ~, so I can get back to Mr. Kyle and. further explain what we will accept. (I can't. believe McArthur is goingto chazge him $600 more to subtract the dimensions, add a note saying they didn't survey it and redraw it on a mylaz! ) CC: svolk, skuenzel ,_" \` ~-.
