Cooper Subdivision -Reply =Reply I spoke with David Scarmardo this afternoon and we have a problem with his detention pond. He assumed that the pond was correct and that his discussion with Kent, meant. that he could begin his slabs. We will not be able to file this plat until Friday if not Monday. He has started his slabs, buf will put a stop on any work from this afternoon forward until the patting issue is correct. He wanted everyone to know that he made a mistake by starting on the slabs. and that he wanted to keep everything on the up and up so that it did not. cause a problem here at the City. I will get back with everyone as the situation progresses. »> Veronica Morgan 08/22/96 09:38am »> just so we know what to enforce in teh field, how will the pump work? where will it pump the water to? »> Kent Laza 08/21/96 02:59pm »> I spoke with David Scamardo earner today about. the situation he has with the development of his little subdivision that we met about yesterday. He has made a counteroffer which Pm going to accept. Basically, he has offered to construct the detention pond for the. subdivision. first,. or at least rough it in enough to be functional. Instead of an outfall pipe he wilLuse a pump until such tune that the ditch we are going to build is complete. In exchange, Pve agreed to chow the slab only permits to be issued. This is similar to the way we handled the Thomas Brothers development on SW Parkway. I spoke to Steve about tlus, but Lance and Veronica were .being "reengineered", We may not be in total agreement over this,. but I see it as an equitable resolution to the problem.
