Ends Statements /Strategic Issues: Civic Pride -Citizens benefit from well
planned, attractive residential and commercial areas.
Item: Consideration of a final plat (E.T.J. replat) for 11.75 acres of Benjamin
Graham Subdivision, all of Blocks D and E, and parts of Lots 7 and 9. (95-228)
Item Summary: The subject lots are located in the Benjamin Graham Subdivision
along Live Oak Street approximately 400 feet east of FM 2154 (Wellborn Road) at
Greens Prairie Road in the City's E.T.J. The purpose of this replat is to bring into
compliance an illegal subdivision by Mr. Darrell L. Ambler. The plat subdivides the
lot currently owned by Ms. Myrtle E. Mosely Williams and the remainder of
Mr. Ambler's property. This plat also abandons the existing Johnson Street right-
of-way and dedicates an additional five feet of right-of-way for Live Oak Street. A
Presubmission conference was held on Wednesday, September 20, 1995. The
comments identified at that meeting have been met, therefore Staff recommends
approval of the final plat. The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider
this item at their October 5, 1995 meeting and the minutes from that meeting will
be included in your information packet as soon as they are made available.
