4. Written legal description of subject property (metes & bounds or lot & block of subdivi ;ion,
whichever is applicable).
ABOVE ITEMS MUST BE RECEIVED 1N THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT AT LEAST 22
DAYS PRIOR TO PL~1~INING & ZONING CONIlv1ISSION MEETING. REGULAR
CONINIISSION MEETINGS ARE HELD THE FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAYS OF EACH
MONTH.
If a petition for rezoning is denied by the City Council, another application for rezoning shall not be
filed within a period of 180 days from the date of denial, except with permission of the Planning; &
Zoning Commission or City Council.

The Owner is proposing to subdivide his land, but cannot comply with the

changing the Zoning to R-1, the 2:.315-acre portion that lies within the City
Limits will comply with the Zoning Ordinance.
2.) Indicate whether or not this zone change is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. If it; is not,
explain why the Plan is incorrect.
This Zone Change-is in accordance with the City's Comprehensive Plan which
depicts this area as low density residential.
3.) List any other reasons to support this zone change.
The Zoning .Ordinance requirement for tYa~ minimum -lot arta of an A-O tract is 5.00
acres. This proposed residential tract is 2.315 acres, therefore, a low density
Zoning of R-1 is requested.
