Division 1101 Texas Avenue College Station, Texas .77842-9.960 Dear Ladies and Gentlemenz ~i~ -io~l As residents of the Woodcreek Subdivision we are writing to express our strong opposition to the proposed re-zoning of the 69.8 acres located in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Sebesta Road -and the East Bypass North Frontage Road (Case Number 95-106). This proposal, while advantageous to the devel- opers as well as the ..land owners and the tax base for the city, would be extremely detrimental to residents of this vicinity. You, as residents of College Station, surely .place a .high value. upon the esthetics of your neighborhood. -Commercial devel- opment, increased auto traffic,, light and 'noise pollution, and the infusion of people are not desirable elements for a quiet residential neighborhood. They also :decrease property. values! We built our home in Woodcreek because. it is a quiet, safe en- vironment. We would not have chosen that location if the devel- apments proposed through the re-zoning request had been in place.:.: We hope you will protect our nice College Station neighbor- hoods so that our city will continue to be a quality place to live. We are not opposed to progress or commercial development; we simply want areas .segmented 'to assure a quality of life. Isn't that what progressive city p arming is all .about?
