Re: Proposed Resubdivision of Southwood Valley Section 24A
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
This is to notify you .that the City of College Station has received the following resubdivision
request for a property located in the Southwood Valley Subdivision:
Applicant: Thomas Properties
Subject Property: Tract B, block 55 totaling 3.93 acres in the Southwood Valley
Section 24A Subdivision
Proposal: The applicant is proposing to subdivide. the existing single lot into
15 individual lots for single family residences. (See attached plat.)
The .Planning .and Zoning :Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the request on
Thursday, November 17, 1994. The City Council will also hold a public hearing to consider the
request on Thursday, December 8, 1994. Both public hearings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the
Council Room of the College Station City Hall at 1101 Texas Avenue South, College Station,
Texas.
If the .proposed replat is protested in accordance with subsection 212.015 of the Local
Government Code, the proposed replat must receive, in order to be approved, the affirmative vote
of at least three-fourths of all members of the municipal planning commission or governing body,
or both. For a legal protest, written instruments signed by the owners of at least 20 percent of the
area of the lots or .land immediately adjoining the area covered by the proposed replat and
extending 200' from that area, but within the original subdivision, must be filed with the municipal
planning commission or governing body, or both, prior to the close of the public hearing.
All property owners within 200 feet of the subject property have received notification of this
request.

Subdivision into 1 S individual single family lots.
The hearing will be held in the Council Room of the College .Station City Hall, 1101 Texas
Avenue at the 7:00 p.m. meeting of the Commission on Thursday, November 17, 1994.
