ITEM: Public hearing and consideration of a rezoning request from C-1 to C-2 for 1.77 acres of
Payless Cashways property abutting the existing Furrow's ite near the intersection of Highway 6
Bypass and Hai-~!ey Road.
ITEM SUMMARY: This rezoning .will allow for ,the expansion of the existing business. .The
site plan. that 'has been submitted' shows one additional warehouse and_ additional parking spaces
across the rear of the site.. The request is not. in conflict with :existing- and planned uses and with
the Land Use Plan.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval.: The Planning and Zoning
Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6 to 1.
