Pebble Creek Develop- ment Company, has applied for the rezoning of the above-described property to R-1A Residential zoning; WHEREAS the City Council of the Cjty of College Station, Texas, heard evidence that the proposed zoning change is in conformi#y with the City's Comprehensive Pian; WHEREAS, the City Council. of the City of College Station, Texas, heard evidence as to the location of the .property in southern College Station; WHEREAS, evidence was presented that. this area of College Station is rapidly developing; WHEREAS,. evidence was presented that the proposed use of the property as single family residential will satisfy some of the demand for single family housing in this area; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas has concluded that the development taking. place. in the southern part of the City is a changed. condition that makes the subject property more suited to single family residential use;. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT .ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, .that the above-described property is hereby rezoned from A-0 Agricultural-Open Space to R-1A Single Family Residential, effective immediately.
