This .prestigious environmental award will be officially given to College Station officials at the Governor's Awards Banquet on April 14, 1994 in Austin, Texas. Since that time, the applicant has revised the rezoning request to C- 3 Planned Commercial.. The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on Thursday, March 17, 1994 and voted to recommend approval of the proposed rezoning request. I The City Council will hold a .public hearing to consider the rezoning request on Wednesday, April 27, 1994 in the Council Room of the College Station City Hall at 1101 Texas Avenue South, College Station, Texas. The City Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.; however, the public bearing for the rezoning request will not begin ' until 6:00 pm. in order to ensure the public can participate. All property owners within 200 feet of the subject property have received notification of this request.
