City Planner Kee presen d the. staff report an recommended approval of the proposed
rezoning request. The R- designation pr Ides more flexibility than the standard R-1
district in that it has a smalle minimum 1 size of 4000 square feet as opposed to 5000.
This. difference in size allows f up t. 10 dwelling units per acre instead of the 8 as
permitted in R-1. Thisrezoning . result in the continuing development of Emerald
Forest. The request is incomplia e ith the Land Use Plan and the master development
plan for the. subdivision.
