It consolidates several tracts for multi-family zoning and will also result in the extension of a portion of Central Park Lane. The proposed zoning does not conflict with existing land uses nor with future planned uses. There is existing R-1 zoning to the south but it is currently largely vacant with a church as the closest structure some 400 feet away. Staff recommends approval of the rezoning request.
