AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9 MINIMUM PARKING REQUIREMENTS, OF ORDINANCE NO. 1638, THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, SPECIFICALLY TO CHANGE THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES NEEDED FOR VETERINARY CLINICS FROM ONE SPACE PER 150 SQUARE FEET TO ONE SPACE PER 300 SQUARE FEET. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 1993, on the question of a lower parking requirement for veterinary clinics; AND WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a requirement of one space for every 300 square feet of clinic space will be adequate for this type of use; AND WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend this section; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: Amend Section 9.3 Number of Parking Spaces Required to read: Type of Generator Unit Spaces Per Unit Veterinary Clinic 150 KF. 300 S.F 1.0 This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the City Charter of the City of College Station. ..., PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED this 25th day of February, 1993.
