Mr. Colson stated that the applicant should not have to do such extensive <work, such as paving a service drive, in order to complete a slnall.addi tion. The targeted clientele will be TexasA& M University students living on campus or in close proximity or who utilize University bus systems for transportation to campus . Applicant Bill Varvell approached th~ Commission and advised members to review the two letters of opposition and consider concerns as to parking. the staff Chairperson Sawtelle closed the public hearing. Dresser seconded the motion which passed 4 -1 (Mr. Colson voting in opposition of the motion). 7~ Other business.
