On Tuesday, October 5, 1993, I met with Morris Hamilton, Jr. to discuss the
proposed Westminster Subdivision... The preliminary plat was originally scheduled
for a Presubmssion Conference review on Wednesday, October 6, 1993.
However, after staff and Ray Crow from the County Engineer's Office met o
review the plat, the -item was removed from the October 6th agenda due to the
following problems:
-~ the Barron Road right-of-way should be increased to 120' to allow for
'~ appropriate pavement width, sidewalks and bike lanes;
-- the single family. dots. cannot front along Wellborn Road;
-- the single family hots cannot front along Barron Road;
-- -the proposed phasing is not acceptable,. some internal circulation. must
be provided to not allow individual driveways along Barron Road;
-- the impact studies submitted do not address increased run-off or flows
that are anticipated through the.channels or the ponds located on situ;
-- public and private easements have not been addressed; and,
-- drainage issues have not been addressed such as the.,. ponds being
located on private lots, maintenance responsibility, etc.
I informed Mr, Hamilton that after these major issues .have -been addressed, the
preliminary plat could be resubmitted for staff review and if acceptable,
scheduled far Fresubmission Conference Review.
