The preliminary plat was originally scheduled for a Presubmssion Conference review on Wednesday, October 6, 1993. However, after staff and Ray Crow from the County Engineer's Office met o review the plat, the -item was removed from the October 6th agenda due to the following problems: -~ the Barron Road right-of-way should be increased to 120' to allow for '~ appropriate pavement width, sidewalks and bike lanes; -- the single family. dots. cannot front along Wellborn Road; -- the single family hots cannot front along Barron Road; -- -the proposed phasing is not acceptable,. some internal circulation. must be provided to not allow individual driveways along Barron Road; -- the impact studies submitted do not address increased run-off or flows that are anticipated through the.channels or the ponds located on situ; -- public and private easements have not been addressed; and, -- drainage issues have not been addressed such as the.,. ponds being located on private lots, maintenance responsibility, etc. I informed Mr, Hamilton that after these major issues .have -been addressed, the preliminary plat could be resubmitted for staff review and if acceptable, scheduled far Fresubmission Conference Review. ~~' Natalie Thomas Planning Technician i
