PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
TO THE ..... CITY SECRETARY OF. THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION:
This~e~i~f6~ annex~ion pfp~6perty to the jurisdic-
tionallimits of the City of College station, Tixas is made pur-
suantto Local Government Code Chapter' 43 by the undersigned
property owner.
The area requested for anne~ation, hereinafter referred to
as "Ariall, is described by metes and bounds in Exhibit A attached
he~eto arid inc6rpora.ted by referen.Ce. The Area is depicted i.n
the plat attached hereto as Exhibit B. As the landowner, I !~ep-
resent that the approximate total acreage owned by me is
It is requ.ested that the Aria be annexed and that services
be made available pursuant to 'Exhibit Cattached hereto and i_n-
corporated herein by .reference.
The annexation of the Area is initiated on written petit:ion
by me as owner. I represent .that.r am the landowner and that r
am authorized to sign this Petition for Annexation.
I further represent that prior to signing the Petition <3.
copy was posted for ten (10) days in three public places in the
Area to be annexed and was published once in the Eagle. before the
15th day before the petition is first circulated~ Additiona~lly,
I have . attached hereto proof of publication attached to the Jpeti-
tionas Exhibit D,the affidavit of the publisher of the new:s-
paper stating the name of the paper, the issue and date of publi-
cation.
I am aware that the first action of the City in the, annexa-
tion process is to publish notices in the Bryan-Colleae station
Eaa!e. The notice for each hearing will be published at least
"once on or after the 20th day but before the 10th day before the
date of the hearing." I further understand that theCoullcil must
conduct two public hearings and that the hearings mustbe.con-
ducted on ,or after the. 40th day but before the 20th day before
the date of the institution of the proce.edings. A sE!rvic.e plan
must be prepared by the Planning Department for the extension of
full municipal services to the area.

the aiggins Estate Property, for the purpose of vesting title to a
specifictraot Of property in Joyc. MildredHi9~ins, in exchange
fOr her Conveyance of her right, title and interest to the surfaoe
of the rest of the Higgins Sstate Property.
The parties will
con~inu~ to own oil, .gasane! other minerals to all the aiggins
Estate Property in equal undivided shares.
The foregoing.premises oonsidered, JOHN F. HIGGINS and BETTY
KROHN now convey tiHle to one oertain 62.000 aore tract to JOYCE
MILDRED HIGGINS, together with a 30 foot wide easement to that
tr~ot, in exchange for the conveyanoeby JOYCE MILDRED HIGGINS to
JOHN F. HIGGINSandBETTYI(~OHN of all of her undivided interest in
and to the rest of the Biggins Estate Property which she might now
