Following are my responses to~the corresponding comments made by the reviewing agents of the Project
Review Committee:
PlANNING: Ed Hard - Transportation Planner -(409)764-3570
COMMENT #1: Concemedwith configuration of proposed drive-thru as shown. Has questions on
the feasibility of a drive-thru. at this . location.
R:ESPONSE:The drive-thru is for pick-up only of the "phone-in-orders". Drive 'A' at the rear
of the building (reference enclosure 1) and Drive 'B' are primarily for service
vehicles not for access to the shopping center by Patrons. Access from University
is via .Drive 'cr. Site lines and .stacking in the recessed drive area eliminate
potential traffic congestion with service vehicles.
COMMENT #2: Submit an application for the proposed site plan.
RESPONSE: Application for the entire site was previously submitted in November, 1991 and
approved in February, 1992.

COMMENT #1: A drainage development permit is required prior to any site work 0

the water line is where the Blockbuster Video plans show, what was agreed to as
an island protected water line has become a drive-covered water line and the
building may encroach into the easement and/or cover the water line.
The building . does not encroach on the water line easement (reference enclosed
drawing). Agreed the water line easement is under some pavement .and some
island areas, this condition replicates the existing conditions at the shopping
center.
