December 10, 1.992 RE: Subdivision Requirement for Action of Plats This item has been placed on your agenda a ain because the Subdivision g Regulations require that the P&Z approve,. disapprove or conditionally a rope all lats pp p As you will recap the motion made by Commissioner Marriot at the lash meeting on the Oakbrook Talley preliminary.. plat was to approve the plat as submitted by the applicant. This motion. was defeated by a 2-4 vote. ...Staff inferred: that the Commission's intent was to approve the plat with Staff recommendation (relative to the open drainage channels) but legally we needed another motion to make. that intent clear. If your intent was to approve he .plat with staff recommendations then ,;this motion hould be made and passed. If not then:.. some :alternate motion. should be made. A motion to table is not considered action and the Commission must take action within 30 days from. the date that the plat is filed with the City..
