STAFF COMMENTS I RECOMMENDATIONS
This area was recently annexed into the City. and is therefore still
zon~dlnt~rimA-O. ... The Zoning Ordil1ance stipulates that all
property, that .. tszoned in this classificatlon be rezoned within one
year of the. date of annexation.
R~zoning the Foxfiresubdiviston toR-lWoLtld be. incompliance
with development . policies ....a.ndwould ...not make. changes to the
tra!1sportationpla,n. . . Foxfire .... fills in. the ..area. between Emerald
Forest ..and. . W oodcreek, whi.chare both reflected. as ..low . density
residential.. on the land use . plan. .... . This Sllbdivision. has beerl in
existence since the late 1970's and has been residential since that
time.
There are three lots thatare'bolJndedbythe Foxfire Stlbdivision
that arel'1ot legally considered. part of Foxftre (Chylinski areas BA.
BB ,and Pear~etract H). This rezoning as proposed would also
reflect these three tr~ctsasR~lalso... Leaving these. tracts J~-O
WOtl1d not be incompliance' with minimttm lot sizes; nor would an
.J- '"
A.O classification be. i11compliance With the purpose of an A-O
dis trict.
Rezoning areas 6 . and 7, the H:enry and Waltman tracts, fro.mA-O
interimtoA-O permanel1t WOllldpresent no conflict. A-Oallows
residential andagriculttlraJ tlses .with a minimtlm lot size of 5
acres.
