Staff Planner Kuenzel presented the staff report-explaining hat the
_item was previously tabled due to an incomple e site plan. At the-
.previous meeting, the Commission agreed to a two year time period
for completion of the parking lot.
Mr.: Hawthorne moved to approve the condtiona use permit request to
allow a -permenanent parking lot at the existing Victory Temple
Christ Holy Sancitifed Church located at -;1115 Detroit Street, Mr.
Michel seconded the motion which passed unopposed (5 -- 0).

'Zoning Ur~dinance creating a `new C-B Business Commercial district to
be applied throughout the City. (91-811)

that the new district was designed an alterna ive to the C-1 General..
Commercial district far locations that are appropriate far mast
commercial uses, but neat. the range allowed in .C-1. This zoning
d.lstrict was recommended in the .University Drive Corridor Repast.
,, Once this district is approved, staff wain begin the City initiated
rezoning, along University Drive.
Chairperson Sawtelle opened the public hearing. Seeing no one
present to speak in .favor of or in opposition to the proposed
ordinance amendment, she closed the public hearing.
Mr Colson moved to recommend approval of the ordinance -amendment
creating a new C_B Business Commercial dstric Mr. Michel
seconded the motion which pasfsed unopposed (5 = 0).
