Dear Mr. Pullen:
we have submitted ~-plat fair appra~al bar the City,. which does several things
to the~lats at the. end of Made street and ~vuthwest Parkway.
1. In twa +~ases, ve 'are making twa lamer lets out cif three existing
lets; on the East side of Made street ve are also platting the lets to extend
back t+o the prop~rt~ line clan Bee creek, and adjanng Lemontree Park. A
small strip of land %s being added to the park along the s.W. bank of Bee
Creek.
~. we are also platting a tract of 2.55 acres which has never before
been a part of airy plat. This 2.5~ acres all stapes gently toward southwest
Parkway, where the runoff water gees into existing storm sewer along the
Parkway,
The lots. nn Laura Lane-which join this 2~~ acre tract on the s.w. side, and
the ~ lats~tacng Glade street wining this tract along the N.w. side all.
~~ain their back yards presently onto the x.55 acres.
I wish to preserve the natural. flow of runoff water as it now is, so that any
construction on the. 2.55 acres will not interferewth thsflow. I propose
to add a note to the plat csubj~ct to approval} which clearly gill preserve
the routes of this present drainage, which incidental~.~ series to drain the
Z.55 acres. along its sideline. ~~nclo~ed is partial plat shaving runoff
mutes. ~
Please try to get appra~al from p&~ to make whatever "notations" necessary to
accomplish this reservation of natural drainage routes. ~We could call i~'a
"slate control" area ar "private drainage eas men. ar existing drainage
routes, but it seems `to me important not t~ allow theae rautee to be

obstructed.
