Station Ms. Veronica Morgan, Assistant City Engineer P.O. Box 990 1101 Texas .Avenue College Station, Texas 77$42-09b0 IN RE: Project on Welch and .Southwest Parkway This letter deals with a request by Ms. veronica .Morgan in conversations with my off-.ice and myself to change the drive width at the facility currently under. consideration at Welch and Southwest Parkway in College Station from 47' in width to 3d'. This letter serves to request .that. stipulations for drive width. distances currently.. set at 47' be allowed to remain at that distance because that distance had been supplied by College Station officials intially as the required distances necessary for this location. Given these distances, the site development by the owner's and this contractor were planned around these distances for proper traffic flow both on the property and to allow for proper ingress :and egress to City streets. These plans..were-developed and presented to City officials for suggestions and input before they were ever presented for consideration by the P.R.C. and no comments were made up until that point on any decision to change that distance . As comple to changes of on-site location of store facilities and all other aspects of thin site development is crucial to the width and location of this drive and as so much preparation has .gone into this site plan up to this point; it is requested and certainly any consideration will be appreciated if these distances as they have been presented to the P.R.C. is allowed to remain.
