City Engineer .,City of College.,Station P.D. Box 9960 College Station, Texas RE; ,PEBBLE CREEK PHASE 1A LOTS IN FLaOD PLAIN Dear Dav~,cl: As was discussed at the meeting on Thursday last between you, Mr. A.P. Boyd...and. myself, part of Lots 6 and 7 in Block 1 of Pebble Creek phase LA lies within the 100. year. flood plain. Since there has been no official desig- nation of this flood plain boundary, I determined he approximate location from flood studies. made by Turner, Collie-.and :Braden for the College Station Economic Development Foundation and by Walton and Associates fora the City of ;College Station. The two studies are in close enough agreement that I feel. comfortable with either one. I propose to place a note on the final plat. of this subdivision to state that the floor elevation of any structure on either of these lots must be one foot (1') above the top of curb at the common front corner of the lots. This is approximately two feet above the flood plain boundary as determined by these studies.. From our conversation Thursday concerning this matter, I understand. that this will meet with your approval. Sincerely. ,M .r ..David R.1VIayo, P.E., president cc: A.P.
