If converted, it will b'e required to be upgraded to an ttas,sembly typett structu.re, which will inolude the requirement of having a fire hydrant located within 300 feet of all parts of an.y structure on the land. The cost of any addi ti.onal hydrant to meet this requirement is the responsibili ty of the developer. ~.Y"11~1~g: The occupancy of this existing structure will be changed from resident.ial to .tassembly". Many structural requiremen.ts will be different and staff has not determined at this time the extent of renovation requirement because abuilding plan has not been submitted · by the a.pplicant. gIg: Coordinate with LaVern Akin of the company for service whether plans include either razing.of the existing building or using it. ~r!q!Ng~R!Nq: The City Engineer expressed concern that a higher intensity. use in this area will put a strain on an existing street which was not constructed for uses of this nature.
