City Engineer Pullen stated thatcus, tomary interpretation of
ttall--weathersurfacingtthasbeena surface which has been seal-
coated, one of hot mix asphalt or one. of concrete. He stated
that in his opinion, gravel is a temporary all-weather surface
which does not lend itself to pavement marking. Additionally, he
stated the project under consideration does not include curbing,
which is used to control drainage anidtrafficflow. He continued
by pointing out that decis.ionshave.:beenmadeinthe past for
other similar projects to require one of the 3 m,entioned
acceptable surfaces with curbing, so there should be additional
consideration given to aesthetic consistency.
He finalized by stating that .hewouldonly recommend approval of
this project if it includes the. cust:omapilyaccepted surfacing
and curbing with attention given to drainage from the lot.
