SUBJECT: Parking'LotPlan - .ttThe Flower Market" -
portable building tobe located in the
easement parallel to Harvey Road on the
J.J. Muggs parking lot (88-410)
The P. R .C.met .onthisdate to review the subject project,
and approved the project with the followingconditions*:
1. Maintain amillimum ofI5'. feet of clearance between this
building and the existing utility line.
2. The EXACT location of the proposed building must be
finalized prior to consider>ation for a license to
encroach.
3. Because this building is being located in .an existing
easement, '.in the event the need arises to perform some
type of maintenance. on any of the utilities located
within this easement, the structure. will have tobe
mov.ed.......... with<the Otvner "~"b earing the.. ......full...co's.t. .......for...movi n g
and relocating the building.
The Planning & Zoning'Commissioners were bothered by the
reference to a "temporary"building as opposed to. a
"portablettbuilding being located .ina possible."permanent"
location. TheCommissionersisuggestedthat'guidelines
shouldhe>createdtofoll()wf~ranYfllture lttelnporarylt
buildings or businesses, . citi~gseveral examples of projects
whichhavebeenrecently.apprpved for "temporary" facilities
which<we.renotrequired to furlly meet all .ordinance
requirements because theytvere "temporary" ,but in fact,
have become U permanen t "bui lidings or facilities.

The,8pplicant informed theP.R.C. that the sign he is

Engineering and Building Divisions regarding the number of

and the building permit. The Planning Division will approve
the additional copies .if they are identical to the plan

This building is 10'-0" x 16'-0" with a height of 14'-0"
to the peak of the roof. This classifies it as a temporary struc-
t ure . It will be built on wolmanized skids and anchored to the
~oncrete parking area with anchor bolts. It will be lc..:ated in
the J.J. Mugg's parking lot at the corner of highway 30 'and Kyle street.
There Vlill be no water service hookup to .our facility. If further
