RE: Temporary Entrance at Phase III Southwood Forest --
Gail Place & Rio Grande
Dear David:
It has been brought to Otlr attent.ionby the residents of
Southwood Forest Phase One that the construction activity on
Phase Two has created some inconveniences ;>for them. After our
'init, ial inquiry into their concerns, it becanle clear that we
'sliou'ld take some action to relieve the conge, stion thatesixts
there.
We propose to construct, w~th your permission, a temporary
construction entrance to Pllase Two an,d Three of Southwood Forest.
.' .,.<';his entrance would be located at the Gail Place and Rio Grande
I.ntersection as indicated on Exhibi tOne. We believe tIlis
temporary entrance would relieve much of the congestion in Phase
One.
We also feel that the wear and tear on the streets in Phase
One would be diminished, and as a bonus we would better control
.the aCCUDltllation of mud and debris on the roads. Our temporary
construction entrance would consist of removing approximately
60 LF of curb at Rio Grande along with t,he sidewalk and the
installation of a30" temp. culvert. We would, of course, close
theent,rance w,hen. construction at t,he permanent ent,ry structure
is scheduled and approved.
Please feel free to call me at any time should you have any
questions. We appreciate your consideratioll ontl1is request.
SincerelYt
