Mr. Bell' sproperty--'was annexed in September of 1980. The
present zoning-classification was placed on the property in 1981-,
shortly after annexation, at the applicant's request. The
current C-2classifieation was required fortbeexpansionand
operationoftnewelding~shop that existed prior to annexation.
'Mr.Bell is prop'oslhg- to use part of -the- property on which '. the
welding shop sits for the storage of cbemicalsto be used in
manufacturing food additives. There are proposed tobe3 to 4
'very large storage tanks_:attbe rear of the property. This type
of use requires a beavy fndustrial zoning classification.
The future lan~ use plan reflects the area as low density
residential and does not reflect industrial or commercial land
uses along 158 ....betweenS.H.30 and.S.H.60.
