Fire Hydrant Line Maintenance
Personnel from the city reminded the contractor for the new Post Office that
there was as yet no settlement of the question of an.easement for the fire
line. I was supposed to have sent a letter some time ago suggesting that the
Postal Service preferred to maintain its own fire line rather than to dedicate
an easement across its site for the. city to maintain it.
The U.S. Postal Service will provide maintenance for the 811 water line and
fire hydrants on its property.
I trust this is sufficient to your needs. and if there are any questions on
this or any other problem, please call me at 214-767-7458.
