Engineering: Water: Adequate, Applicant will need to ensure fire hydrant within 300 feet of all parts of building Sewer: Adequate Streets: Adequate Flood Plain: NA Notification: Legal Notice Publication(s): 7-22-87 Advertised Commission Hearing Date: 8-6-87 Number of Notices Mailed to Property Owners Within 200':13 Response Received: None to Date Staff Comments: Conditional use permits are granted by the Commission, subject to appropriate conditions and safeguards, when the Commission finds: A. That the proposed use meets all the Dlinimum standards established in the Zoning Ordinance for this type of use; B. That the proposed use is in harmony with the purpose and intent of the zoning ordinance and the plan for physical development of the district as embodied in the comprehensive plan for the development of the City; C. That the proposed use will not be detrimental to the health,welfare, and safety of the surrounding neighborhood or its occupants, nor be substantially or permanently injurious to neighboring property. The applicant is proposing to utilize the facility for meetings and parties as specified on the application, and only until May of 1988. The P.R.C. reviewed this project on July 22, 1987 and recommended approval of a temporary use permit based on the hours of operation as submitted by the applicant. Because of the temporary nature of the project and the fact that the applicant is not proposing any site changes other than clean-up, the P.R.C. did not recommend any site improvements.
