Staff Comments:
Conditional use permits are granted by the Commission, subject to
appropriate conditions and safeguards, when the Commission finds:
A. That the proposed use meets all the minimum standards
established in the ZoniIlg Ordinance for this type of
use;
B. That the proposed use is in harmony with the purpose and
"
intent of the zoning ordinance and tIle plan for physical
development of the district as embodied in the
comprehensive plan for the development of the City;
c. That the proposed use will not be detrimental to the
health, welfare, and safety of the surrounding
neighborhood or its occupants, nor be substantially or
permanently. injurious to neighboring property.
In 1978 a conditional use permit was granted for the Greek
Village Subdivision with the condition that each site, plan be
brought to the Commission for review. Another condition was that
a screen fence be constructed along the perimeter of the
subdivision (along Un i vers i ty Oaks, Munson aIld Dominik).
The site plan for the Alpha Chi Omega S.ororit)7 was revi:ewed by
the P. R'. C. on July 22, 1987 and approval was recommende:d wi th
