Dear Shirley:
St. Francis, Episcopal. Church is in need ,of.additional parking. The attached site plan
shows an expansionofegistingparking from SO to 72 spaces. The new parking will be
located in the front of the building according to the original master plan and the
modified master plan approved in 1995.
Please note the landscaping points required for 72 parking spac~s is (72 x 12) 864
points. The Church has. been working toward. their ultimate laPdscaping plan for
several years. Currently there are 51, 2" to 4.5" caliper trees and~O sOOlhs. The ne\tv
plan will incorporate four new Crepe Myrtles in the new island~. The total points

St. Francis Episcopal Church parking lot expansion.

Staff reviewed the 'site plan for the above mentioneddevelopment,and recommended approval
with the condition that the parking lot be screened from Rock Prairie *oad. The parking lot
should be screened on both sides closest to Rock Prairie Road with a 3' ciontinuous screen. This
screen can consist ofaberm, shrubs, 'low wall or some combination. !
