THE FOLLOWING ARE TYPICAL STANDARDS FOR PLAN DEV~LOPMENT ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE OR POLICY:

3) MinImum parking space Is 91 x 20', or on apertmeter row, 91 x 18' with a 21 overhang.
4) Minimum drive width Is 231 with h~ad-in parking or 201 without parking.
5) Landscaped Islands of ~'I raised curb are located at both ends of each parking row.
6) Landscaped Islands are also located every 15 spaces on Interior r~s and every 20 spaces
on perImeter rows.
7)A 61' raised curb Is required around all edges of all parts of all paved areas without
exceptIon. (To Include Islands, planting ~reas, access ways, dumpster locations, utility
pads, etc.) Curb detail to be approved by City Engineer. No exceptions will be made for

Curb cuts are determined. by City Engineer. Standards are one curb cut for a
sitewith125.feet$treet frontage. and two cuts for 250 feet frontage. An
additional 5.00 feet of frontage is needed for each additional cut. In general,
keep cuts at least .200 feet from major intersections.

Fire lanes of a minimum of 20 feet in:.widthwlth a minimum height clearance
of 14 feet must beestaD li shed if aoystructure of any type is more than
150 feet from a public street or hIghway.
Any structure in. any zoning distdctotherthan R-1, R-1A orR-2 must be within
300 feet ofa fire hydrant as measured along a public street or highway.
Fire hydrants must be located on the same side of a major street asa project,
and. shall be ioa location approved by the Fire Marshal1s office and the Super-
i'ntendentof Water and Sewer.
Office or business facilities in excess of 5,000 sq. ft. must furnish parking
spaces (minimum size l21x 201) designated for use by handicapped persons only,
with ramps. with no greater gradient than 1:12 and a minimum width of 4 feet.
