The reference plat may be eligible for oversize
participation. The developer will be required to install an
18't waterline to comply with themast.er plan for ,water
system development as detailed in table 61 of Plan 2000.
The line will be 1460 feet long. The waterline will exterl(j
from the point where it will tie into the existing system,
approximately 100 feet south of the proposed development,
thruthe entire frontage of the tract. The over size cost
could be around $45,000.
Section 9 Paragraph C of the subdivision regulations
addresses the "...extra cost of the pipe..." to be paid as
oversize. It is customary to include the extra cost of
appurtenances in this reimbursement also. Appurtenallces
includes valves, fittings, casings and other incidental
items which make up the complete installation.
Staff recommends that the City partlcipatein the
oversize costs of this waterline. The differential should
be paid upon the basis of the ordinance and t.he hydraulic
analysis of the ne~ds of the subdivision in accordance with
the City's ~stablished design criteria.

This proposal deals with several matters which we have discussed
involving a cooperative ,effort on the part of, the City, Peoples
and College Station ISO (the school district). Basically the
proposal that we have discussed involves the following
