SUBJECT: Parking Lbt Plan - Texas Aggie Bookstore, 201 Dominik (86-431)
Ii.
Applicant appealed staff decision/direction asa condition to site plan
approval. Staff expressed a desire fo.... addlt i onalg rassed a rea and I es s
blacktbP prior to approving asTte plan. The applicant felt that because
he hadmet ordlnancerequirements with regard to landscaping points, it
Was not necessary that he create additional grassy areas since the cost
to hfm would be substantial.
At the P./hC. review of this site plan a compromise was reached, with the
applIcant agreeing to remove between 600 and 700 square feet of additional
blacktbp from the parts of the driveways which face Dominik, near the front
of the bUlldlng,and further to establish grassy areas where the blacktop
was removed. The P.R.C. agreed to this compromrse.
The only other conditions for approval were that the appl icant should
coordinate all utility requirements with the appropriate entities: i.e.,
Ray Havens -Electrical Department; Bill Riley -Water & Sewer Department;
Terran Sanchez - Lone Star Gas Co.; and Laverne Dube - GTE.
