Dear Jud:
I have reviewed again your site plan.. You have addressed those
itemsldtscussedwith George Ball 11/5/85 with the exception
o.f the ftre hydrant on WellboF.n Roada As Idiscussedwit:h
George, that fire hydrant must be relocated to the northerly
side of~(}urdriveon Wellborn Road. . The hydrant in its
presentloc.ationwill notprovideadequateprotectton to the
propertyciuein part to its proximity to the gasoline storage.
Also, futuredevelopmentof your5t t8 \;vil1 require the reloca-
tionornew location of the hydrant at that point.
The drawil1gstoreloc'ate thishydran tmus tbemade by a
Registered Professional Engineer and. comply withCi ty .standards.
Itislii<:81yyouwil1 need to dedicate some easement for. the
waterlineexterlsion. I expect the street right-of-way is
filled with other items which will not permit putting it there.
I note on your plan you propose to use some of the Wellborn
Roadright-of....way for underground electrical feed. You m'ust
acqui rea s tatepermi t to do tha t.
Before I s:;anrelease this project to the Building Department
for their review I must have reviewed and approved the utility
plans and specifications (water line and fire hydrant), grading
plans, and drainage report..

Dear Mr. Alexander:
If yourecal'l our phone conversation of mid-November concerning
the landscape 'planforJud 's Food Store, I was planning to talk
to David "Vlolf of Ellison's about the necessary corrections a
We did get together b,y phone and David supplied me \vi th t11e
following informat~on.whichI will red-line onto the ten site
plans we have in the office:
(1) eliminate the dWiarfyaupons at both driveway entrances,
(2) add.(2) 3!H cal. live oaks at the V?ellborn Road entry
area,
(3) add (2) 3!ft cal. live oaks in the "peninsula"island
fronting Wellborn Road,.
These changes in combination with the other proposed landscaping
bl~ing the, total point value to 1 ,520 which satisfies the Ci ty T S
minimum requirement. At this point! need to mention the neces-
st tyof maintaining a sight-distance triangle of 20 feet at t11e
Hollemanj\Vellborn 'intersection . The only way this affects :vour
plan is that the treeformyaupons IDea t.edthere should be moved
back towards the parking area about five feet.
If you have any furtherquestions, please feel free to call me at
764~3570.
Sincerely,
Official
