AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 0.68'7 ACRE TRACTOR PARCEl., OF LAND LYING AND
BEING STTIJATEDINTI-IE CRAWF'ORDBTJRNETT LEAGlJE IN COLLEGESTAl'ION,
B.RAZOSCOUNTV, TEXAS, AND BEING ALL OF THATO. 687 ACRE PARK TRACT OF
PECANTREElESTATES PHASE TWO AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY
METES AND BOUNDS IN TIlE BODY OF TIlTS ORDINANCE FROM R-2 DUPLEX TO R-5
MEDIUM .DENSITY APARTMENTS..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS;
WHER.EAS, theCityCounci.l held a publi(~hearing in the City Hall at
7: 00 P.M. on Thursday, January 9,1986 on tile question of rezoning
certain areas within the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council 11as deterlnined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or
parcel. of land lying-and being situa~ in the Crawford Burnett League
inCol1eg'eStation,Brazos County, Texas and being all of that 0.687
acre Park Tract of Pecan TreeEstatesPllase Two as recorded in Volume
390, Page 287 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 0.687
acre tract also being the same land conveyed to the City of College
Station, Brazos County, Texas by J. B. Hervey and Dorsey E. McCrory by
deed recorded in Volume 351, Page 444 of the Deed Records and being
more particularly described by met.esand bounds as follows:
BEGINNING: at a1/2 inch iron rod found marking the most westerly
~ corner of the saidO. 687 a'cre Park-<Tract, said iron rod also marking
the intersection of the s.out heast right-of-way line 'of,Southland
Street with the southwest boundary line of said Pecan Tree Estates
Phase Two;

of --way for adistanceo<f93 .58 feet to a 1/2 inch iron rod found at
the Point of Curvature of a curve to the right;
