All that certain tractor parcel of land lying and being situat'ed
in the Cr'aw'fordBurnett and Rober tStevenson Leagues in Brazos
County, Texas, being a part of that 649.77 acre tract conveyed to
Southwood V.alley,Inc.by deed recorded in Volume 322, Page 670
of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more
particularlydescr ibedas' follows:
Commencing of an iron rod set ata fence corner of the most
southerly corner of said 649.77 acre tract.
THENCE S 410 49' 31"W - 1532.46 feet along the southeast line of
the said 649.77 acre tract to an iron rod at a fence corner said
point being the Point of Beginning.

SERVICE PLAN
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PLAN OF SERVICE ,FOR ANNEXATION OF
25.82ACRESLOCATEDAPPROXIMATELY1,000'FEETSOUTHEAST OF THE
INTERSECTION OF ROCK PRAIRIE ROAD AND RIO GRANDE DRIVE, COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS.
WHEREAS,HB-1952requiresa plan of service<be adopted by the
governing body of a city prior to passage of an ordinance
annexing ,,'an 'area.
WHEREAS"theCl,-ty ,0, f ,Co,llege Station is contemplating annexation
of an area bounded "as follows: SEE EXHIBIT "A"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGESTATION,TEXAS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 970a,
Vernon's TexasCivilStatues,asamended,byHB-1952, there is
hereby adopted, for the area bounded as described in Exhibit "A",
the following, plan of service:
a. Police
(1) Patrol.ing, radio responses to calls, and other routine
police serVices, us ingpr,esentpersonnel and equipment,
will be provided on ",thee'ffectivedate of annexation.
(2) Additional p()lice perso.nnel >and patrol cars will be
added to co.ntinue the present level o.f police services
throughout the city, including the newly annexed areas
as required.
(3) Tr,affic signals, ,traffic signs , street mark ings ,and
other traffic control devices will be installed as the
needthereforaisestabli~hed by appropriate study and
traffic standards.
b. Fire
(1) No additional equipment or personnel will be required
to serve the expanded City.

(1) No additional equipment or personnel will be required
to serve the expanded City.
d. Water
(1) The water distribution system for this area is in
place.
e. Sewers
(1) The sanitary sewer collection system for this area is
in place. No additiooalfacilities will be required.
f. Electrical
(1) Initial Electrical Service to tbisareawill be
provided from t'he existing syst~mwithinthe City.
g. Refuse Collection
(1) The same refuse collection service provided within "the
City will be provided int.hisare.a in accordance with
the policy and ord inance>sof thee ity.
h. Streets
(1)
Emergency mai'ntenance ,o,f;the, existing streets (repa i r
of hazardous chuck holes'.llleasures necessary for
trafficflow,etc.)willbegin on the effective date of
annexation.

Routinemaintenance,on the same basis aswith-in the
p-resentCityLimits, will begin on .the effective date
of annexation.

Construction,reconstructionandlorresurfacingof
streets,installationofs.tormdra inage facilities

improvements will bemade<as the need arises and in
accordance with the policy and ordinances of the City.
i . Inspection " Services
Any inspection services now provided by the City (building,
electrical, plumbing, gas, bousing, weights and measures,
sanitation,etc .) will begin in th.eannexed area in
accordance with the current City Code on the effective date
of Annexation.

Planning and, ,Zoni.ng
The Planning and Zoning jurisdiction of the City will extend
to' the annexed area on the ,eff.ec tive dateofannexat ion.
City planning an;dzoning requirements wi 11 thereafter
enco,mpass theannexedarea..All areaswill.be.zoned A-O
until permanent zoning ,classifications are established.
Wher~prior planning stud ies.have been conducted on specific
parcels, permanent zoning maybe established upon the
effective date of annexation if requested by the property
owners or initiated by the City Council.

Street Lighting
Street lights will be installed in substantially developed
commercial andresidentialareasunder the standards
currently prevailing i,n th.eexisting city .and in accordance
with the policies and ordinances of the City.

Recreation
Residents of the annexed area 'may use all existing
recreational facilities, parks,etc. on the effective date
of a'nnex'ation. Tbesame standards and policies now used in
the present city will be followed in expanding the
recreational program and. facilities in the enlarged city.
Miscellaneous
(1) .Streetnamesigns where needed will be installed
within (;ipproximately thirty (30) months after the
effective date of annexation.
