STATI(.lN,'C.TE:XAS. WHEREAS, U$-1952 requires a plan of service be adopted by the governing body of a city prior to passage of an ordinance annE!X ingan> area. (2) A distribution system will be built to provide a looped water <supply system sitnilar and connected to the system currently within the City Limits in accordance with applic.able City policy and ordinances as the need arises. e. Sewers (l) The necessary sewerag.e to serve this8rea will be constructed in accordance with . appli~able City policy and ordinances. A twelveimillion'gallonperday w(istew,ater treatment plant,,'is planned 'for stage constr<uction at the site shown on Exhibit "B". Approval has been granted for discharge permits at two Sewers (con t.) other sites referenced in Exhibit "B". Smaller package treatmentplantsarepla<nnedforthese points to provideinterumtreatmentuntilphase, l' of>the permanent wastewater treatment plant is completed and a collectlonsystemdeveloped. (2) Routine maintenance, 011 the .same basis as wi thin the present City Limits, will begin on the effective date of annexation. (3) Construction,reconstruction.andlorresurfacfngof streets,. in~t:allat:fon of storm drainage facilities, construction of ,curbs, and gutters, and other stIch major improvements will be made as the need arises and in accordance with the policy and ordinatlcesof the City. i. Inspect ionServ ices Any inspec'tion services now provided by the City (building, electrical,plumbing,gas, housing, weights and measures, sanitation,etc.) will begin in the annexed area in accordanGewiththecurrent .CityCode on the effective date of Annexatio.n'. j,. P lanningand ,Zoning ThePlannfng and:Zoning jur isdiction of the. City wi 11 extend to the annexed area on the effective date of annexation. City planning and zoning requirements will thereafter encompass the annexed area. All areas will be zonedA-Q until permanent zoning classifications arees tab 1 i sh ed .
