AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 7.99 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, lYING AND BEING SITUATED IN
THE CRAWFORD BURNETT . LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 7 ,BRAZOS COUNTY", TEXAS, AND BE ING AP.,ORT ION OF A
17.03 ACRE TRACT CONVEYED TO COLLEGE STATION NO. 17 LIMITED BY JOHN A. VOGLER, TRUSTEE,
BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 331 , PAGE 625 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND
BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS OHDINANCE FROM
APARTMENTS LOW DENSITY DISTRICT R-4 TO APARTMENTS MEDIUM DENSITY DISTRICT R".5.
BE IT ORDAINE,D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF "COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a publ ic hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thurs~
day, 1985 on the question of rezoning certain areas within
the City Limits: "
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 7.99 acre tract or patcel of
land, lying and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League, Abstract 7, Brazos County,
Texas and being a portionofa 17.03 acre tract conveyed to College Station No. 17
Limited by John A. Vogler, Trustee", by deed recorded in Volume 331, Page 625 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described by metes and bounds
as f 0 1 1 ow s :

BEGIUNING at the east corner of the aforementioned 17.03 acre tract, same being the
point of intersection of the Southwest right-af-way line of Welsh Street with the North-
west right-of-way line 'of Southwest Parkway;
THENCES -57014110" W along the Northwest right-of-way line of Southwest Parkway for
a distance of 391.20 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;

THENCE contInuIng S 5714'1011 W along the Northwest right-of-way 1 ineof Southwest
Parkway for a di"stanceof"323.00 feet to an i ran rod for corner, same being the South
corner of the aforesaid 17.03acretrac"t;
THENCE N 46000J4311 Walongthe Southwestlineofthe 17.03 acre tract for a distance
of 847.85 feet to the west corner of the 17.03 acre tract;
THENCE N 4501910011 Ealong the Northwest line of the said 17.03 acre tract for a
distance of "470.24 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE S 36018143" E for a distance of 924.16 feet' to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and
containing 7.99 acres of land, more or less, from Apartments Low Density District R-4
to Apartments Medium Density District R-5.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
