WHEREAS, the City Council he1dapubl ichearingin the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thurs-
day, September 27, 1984, on the question of rezoningcertainareas.within the

AND, WHEREAS, the City Counci1hasdetermined the following:
To rezone'or change the classification of the following two (2) tracts of land, both
ly~ng and being situated inthMorgan Rector League, College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, and being moreparttcularly.described as follows:

Being all that certain 2..l0acretractor parcel of land lying and being situated in the
Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, Col1egeStatron, Brazo~County, Texas and being a
portion of that 2.52 acre. tract of. land conveyed to Ralph E.. Mi~ller et ux, Aletha J. Miller
and BillyH.Ransdaleut ux, ,Cassandra K. Ransdale by H. E.Burges~, Trustee by deed re-
corded in Volume 318, Page 470 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, ,Texas said parcel
beIng a portion of Lot 16 of the Lakeview.Acres Subdivision as shown by plat recorded in
Volume 128, Page 300 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,Texas, and being more parti-
cularly described by metes and bounds as foll.ows:

COMMENCING at a rock found mark ng the intersections of the northeast righ~-of-way
line of State Highway No. 6 and the outheast right-of-way line of Morgans Lane;
THENCE N 45000' OO"E along the afor'ement i oned r.t ght-of-way line of Morgans Lane for
a distance of 390.89' feet to the PLACE OF BEG lUNING;
THENCE N 45000'00" E for a distance of 77.84 feet along said Morgans Lane right-of-
way line to a 1/2" iron rod set for corner;
THENCE S 45016'31" Efor a distance of 233.50 feet along the common line between
Lot 15 ~nd Lot 16 of the aforementioned Lakeview Acres Subdivision 'to a 1/2" iron rod set
for corner;
THENCE S 44051'2411 W for a distance of 77.84 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE N 45016'311' W for a distance of 233.69 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and
containing 0.42 acres of land, more or less, from Single Family Residential District
R-l to General Comme~cial DistrIct C-l.
And, it is ordaIned that said changes shall become effective immediately.
