AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 2.009 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE RICHARD
CARTER LEAGUE, A-8,COLlEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING APART OF THE 91.984
ACRES CONVEYED TO BRAZOSLANDPROPERTIES, INC, BY F. W. "BERT" WHEELER, TRUSTEE, IN THE
DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 485, PAGE 499, OF DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, FROM TOWNHOUSE-
ROWHOUSE DISTRICT R-3 TO ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTR'ICT A-P.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,TEXAS;
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday,
September 27 ,1984 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city"
limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City CouncIl has determined the followIng:
To rezone or change theclasstfica,tion of the followIng tract of land lying and being
sItuated in the Richard C~rter League, A-8, College Statton, Brazos County, Texas, and
beIng part of the 91.984 acres tract conveyed to BrazoslandPropertles, Inc. by F. W. "Bert"
Wheeler,Trustee, In the Deed recorded in Volume 485, Page 499, of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas' and be-Ing more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at an Iron rod marking the west corner of the 91.984 acres tract, said
Iron rod being located in the southeast rIght-of-way 1ineof theF.M.60 (University Drive),
said iron rod markIng the west corner of the Glenhaven Estates Subdivision Phase I;
THENCE along the southeast right-of-way lines .of theF.M.60 (University Drive), same
being the northwest Ilnes of the 91.984 acres tract, same being the northwest lines of the"
Glenhaven Estates Subdivision Phases I & III, for the following calls:
N 71030'02'1 E for a distance of 257.41 feet to an Iron rod set for angle point;
N 71036'4811 E fora distance of 69.33 feet to. an lronrod set for corner, said
iron rod marking. the southwest corner of the 2.361 acres Phase VII, said iron rod
also markIng the north~est corner of the Glenhaven Estates Subdivision Phase I I I;

THENCE S 5901311311 W along the southeast 1 ine of the Phase VII for a distance of
447.2'2 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 2.009 acres of land, more or less, from
Townhouse-Rowhouse District R-3 to Administrative-Professional District A-P.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective Immediately.
