AN ORDINANCE REZONING 6.330 ACRESOFA<9.1ll ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING'AND BEING SIT-
UATEDINTHE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, A-8,., COLLEGE STATION , BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS .~FROM
GENERAlCOMMERCIAl~ISTRICT C-l TO COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT C-2.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the CltyCouncil held a pub1 ic.hearingin the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, Apri114,1983 on the question of rezoning certain
areas within the clty limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classif,ication of the following tract of land lying and being
situated in the Richard Carter Leagus,A-8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas
and being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
Being a 6.330 Acres tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Richard
Carter League, A-8,CollegeStation,_Brazos County, Texas, and being part ofa 9.111
acres tract conveyed to Frank Thurmohd, Jr. ,from Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
by Deed recorded in Volume 410, Page 481 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas,
and being more particularly described as folfows:
COMMENCING ata concrete monument found marking the intersection of the northeast
right -of-way line of<S tate Hi g hway No. 6Ea 5 tBy-Pass and the northwes t right-of-way
line of ,State Highway No. 30;
(' THENCE N 3301712611 W, along the northeast right....of-way line of 'sai d StateH i ghway
No.6 East By-Pass, a distance of 350.22 feet to an iron rod set for PLACE OF BEGINNING:
THENCE continueN 33017126" W, along the northeast right-of-way line of said State
Highway No. 6EastBy-Pa~s,a distance of 15~00feet to a concrete right-of-way marker
found for angle point;

No.6 East By-Pass, a distance of 297 .03 feet to an iron rod found for corner;

THENCES 33013' OlliE, along the northeast line of said 9.111 acres tract, 'a dis-
tance of 465.00 feet to an iron rod set for corner;
THENCE across the said 9.111 acres tract for the following calls:
S 4201813711W, ad istance of 260.00 feet to an iron rod set for angle point;
S 4J043'49I1W, a distance of 200.97 feet to an iron rod set for corner;
N 33013 I 0211W, a.d istance of 140.10 feet to an iron rod set for corner;
S42018137"W, a distance of 200.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, and containing
6.330 acres of land, more or less from General Commercial District C-1 to Commercial
Industria 1 District C-2.
AND THAT an acceptable subdivision plat for the entire 9.111 acre tract be submitted and
approved prior to development.
And,itis ordained that said changes shall become effective immediately.
